JIM WERTZ ENDORSED BY REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CARPENTERS
Wertz scores another major endorsement as he continues to build momentum in the race for SD-49

Erie, PA — Today, State Senate candidate Jim Wertz announced his endorsement from the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters.

“You are receiving our union’s endorsement because we share a common desire to protect workers’ rights in our region and the country as a whole,” wrote the Carpenters in a letter announcing the endorsement. “Making sure working-class families receive a fair wage, good benefits, and the safe working conditions they deserve seems like common sense, but you understand there are those who actively take steps to weaken workers’ rights… By working with leaders like you, we can protect fair standards and protect working families.”

“I am honored to receive the support of the Carpenters,” said Wertz. “As a union member myself, I am dedicated to protecting and expanding the rights of hardworking families in Erie County. I look forward to working with the Carpenters to deliver results for working people in our community.”

This is yet another endorsement as Wertz continues to build a groundswell of support in Erie County. He recently received endorsements from County Councilmen Terry ScutellaChris Drexel and Rock Copeland, former Erie Mayor Joyce Savocchio and a group of current and former Erie County Sheriffs.

Wertz has raised over $100k in the race for Senate District 49.
